Jean Ann Dobbs Peppers -born June 3, 1928 in Hollis, OK, to Oren Dobbs and Faremene Shook Dobbs Ellis - died April 1, 2009 in Oklahoma City attended schools in Duncan, OK, and Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, and married James M. Peppers in 1947. Jean worked as R&D secretary at Halliburton in Duncan, OK, and later retired after 25 years as a loan officer at Bank of America in Arlington, TX. Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Kraft of Oklahoma City, and Shirlie Howard and husband Joey of Dallas sons, David Peppers of Orlando, FL, and Robert Peppers and wife Lee of Ft. Lauderdale, FL grandchildren, Lauren Peppers of Ft. Lauderdale, and Brian Kraft and wife Heather of Dallas great-grandchildren, Karoline and Kennedy Kraft of Dallas and several cousins. A private memorial will be held in Duncan on April 20th. Her sweet personality will be greatly missed.
