Benton A. Bronnenberg, age 32, of Herndon, Virginia, died September 16, 2006, at his residence, after an extended illness. He was born March 1, 1974, in Lafayette, Indiana, and resided in Herndon, Virginia. He lived in the Pendleton/Anderson area most of his life. He had worked for Verizon in internet security since 1999. Benton graduated from Pendleton Heights High School and attended Purdue University. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by: his father, David, and wife, Jan Bronnenberg; a sister, Kelly, and husband, Andy Stewart, of Yorktown; a step-sister, Lynn, and husband, Dan Pierce, of Middletown; a step-brother, John Harrington, Jr., and fiancée, Tasha Jones, of Markleville; his grandfather, Bob Bronnenberg, of Anderson ; a niece, Isabella Stewart; a step-niece, Amanda Hubbard; a step-nephew, Caleb Jones; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special friend, Jeannine Sears. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Connie Scott Bronnenberg; his grandmother, Madonna Bronnenberg; and his great-grandparents.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 25, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, South Chapel, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, with Pastor Brad Brizendine officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, in Anderson. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, at the funeral home’s south chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Dialysis Center.
