Graveside services for Mrs. Cora (Beasley) Wisner, 113, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2001, with Rev. Glen Winningham officiating. Burial was in the Monroe Cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Wisner died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at the Overton County Nursing Home. She was a housewife and a member of the Monroe Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible school for many years.

Born January 10, 1888, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late George Stanton and Elizabeth Frances (Reed) Beasley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Henry Wisner; two daughters, Naomi W. Coleman and Heston W. Bowers; and a son, William "Jack" Wisner.

Survivors include a daughter, Jewel Williams, Eastpointe, MI; a half-brother, Harlan Beasley, Livingston; 11 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 30 great-great grandchildren.
