The following information provided by FAG contributor Robert Whitton (47766967) on September 5, 2021:

Alice Thacker Whitton isn't buried in the Thacker-Bullock Cemetery. Someone has put her there, but there's no proof of that. If you'll look up the Thacker Cemetery, Contributed by Mrs.Jaffie Fitzgerald Wall (Dec'd) and Genealogical Data Contributed by Mrs. J. M. (McXie Whitton) Martin (Dec'd), located at the San Augustine Library, you'll see that Alice Thacker is buried in the Thacker Cemetery. The Cemetery is located on Browning Hill Road, off Coulter Lane, off Farm Road #711. There's a small Thacker Family Cemetery located there behind the first white house on the right. The cemetery is very hard to locate as it's some distance behind the old family home and grown over significantly. There are only three grave markers & a number of unmarked graves can be seen in the cemetery. According to the information in the Cemetery Document, there are several children of John B Thacker and Virginia Bullock buried there, including Alice Thacker Whitton. I tried to find her grave to have a marker installed, but failed. If someone can locate it, I be glad to install a marker for her.

Date of Death should be 17 Sep 1916. Her obituary in the San Augustine Tribune, dated 21 Sep 1916, states that, "She died the previous Sunday, which would have been 17 Sept 1916". She had given birth to my father, Robert Troyce Whitton on 7 Apr 1916 and was still getting over the birth, and died of dropsy, 6 months later.
