❡ Funeral services for W. T. Francis, 78, pioneer Tom Bean citizen, were held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Tom Bean Baptist Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. David Griffin, assisted by Rev. W. J. Epting of Sherman. Burial services were at the White Mound Cemetery.
❡ Mr. Francis was born near Van Alstyne December 23, 1868. He had been in the furniture and undertaking business at Tom Bean for 32 years.
❡ He is survived by his wife, sarah-ann-francis, one son, martin-luther-francis of Stillwater, Oklahoma and five daughters, Mrs. H. H. Phares (flora-belle-phares) of Sherman, Mrs. W. E. Pennell (effie-e.-pennell) of Whitewright, Mrs. Culbertson Flint (Lois Eugenia Francis), Oklahoma City, Mrs. anna-mae-mccomb, Denver, Colorado, and Mrs. E. H. Gant (bernice-gant) of Tom Bean.
