HEADLINE: GRADY A. BERRY DIES SUDDENLY -- Field Foreman at State Farm Starts Tractor and Drops Dead

Mr. Grady Allen Berry, 40, field foreman at the Piedmont Experiment Station, died suddenly Saturday morning about 8:45 o'clock while at his work on the farm. Mr. Berry had just started a tractor when he fell dead, death resulting from a heart attack. Someone nearby heard the tractor start and then stop and going out to find the trouble, discovered Mr. Berry's condition. A physician was sommoned
at once, but death had been instantaneous.

Mr. Berry, who had been employed on the station the past ten years, was a native of Guilford county, born April 6, 1901, the son of D.G. and Elizabeth (Cox) Berry.

Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Ina Bowlin; a son Rudolph of this city; his parents D.G. and Elizabeth Berry; a sister Mrs. W.T. Garrett of Greensboro, Route 6; and three brothers, Mr. J.L. Berry of Pleasant
Garden, Guilford county; Mr. J. Charles Berry of New York City; and Mr. Earl Berry of Greensboro. Route 6.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the Salem Methodist church and interment followed in the church cemetery.

I AM NOT SURE WHICH 'SALEM CEMETERY' TO PLACE MR. BERRY -- SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW.... THANK YOU.
