Kenneth Earl Kingsbury Jr., age 61, of North Hollywood, CA formerly of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in California. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and attended Lenoir City High School. Kenn was a poet, producer, casting director, and the author of "Who's Who in Country Music." Known as a humanitarian, Kenn was a volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, United Way and Actor and Others for Animals. Throughout his life he was always a conservationist and preservationist of our country's resources. Preceded in death his mother, Dora B. Kingsbury. Survived by his daughter, Hannah Kingsbury of Corryton; father, Kenneth E. Kingsbury Sr. of Lenoir City; brothers, Thomas Kingsbury of San Francisco, CA, Darrell Kingsbury and wife, Debbie of Montgomery, AL; sister, Dawn Heard and husband, Danny of Huntsville, AL; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 21, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville with Major Don Vick and Major Darrell Kingsbury officiating. Military honors will be conferred. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lost Sheep Ministries, the Salvation Army, P. O. Box 669, Knoxville, TN 37917, or the American Cancer Society.
