Aris F. Moore Obituary
Aris F. Moore, age 75, retired farmer died Sunday from injuries received in a fall recently, at the family home, Mrs. Henry Talbert, 1524 West Sixth street. The funeral will take place at the Adventist church at 10 a.m. today with burial in the Lapel cemetery. Mr. Moore is survived by ten children: Mrs Anna Talbert, Indianapolis; Mrs. Gussie Williamson, Boggstown; Mrs Lydia Hersberger, Lapel; Mrs. Henry Talbert, Mrs Mary Richmond, Miss Rachael Moore of Anderson; David Moore, Boggstown; Frank Moore, Indianapolis; James V. Moore and John L. Moore, of Anderson. Mr. Moore was walking about his home about three weeks ago when he fell and received the injuries resulting in his death. He had lived near Anderson for many years.

Marriages
Aris was married Dec. 6, 1868 in Shelby County to Sarah E. Stiner and they had ten children. She died in September 1908 and he remarried on September 16, 1909 in Shelby County to Ream Pettigrew Wiseman. She was a widow the age of his oldest daughter. His older daughters were not happy about this marriage and probably less so when Ream became pregnant and produced Rachel. He was not with Ream when he died and the 1920 census for her indicated that she was divorced, but she often listed herself as his widow.

Note: His son Frank M. Moore died in Humbolt County, California on 5 Sep 1961. Frank's children Oris Clinton Moore and Imogene Moore Young lived in the Shelby County, Indiana area.
