Eli Oliver was born December 11, 1789 in Virginia. He married Lucinda Corder in about 1820. They had at least 8 children - James (1819-1892), John (1822-1880), Andrew Jackson (1829-1865), Mary (1831-1897), Isabell C. (1833-1868), Eliza (1835-1839), Helen (abt 1836-?) and Cynthia A. (1839-1915). Eli died May 13, 1859 and is buried on the Oliver farm in Jefferson Township, Williams County, Ohio.
