Survived by wife, Linda Knight Haris, Albany; two stepdaughters, Melinda Zalson, Albany, and Rhonda Jubin
Springfield; two stepsons, Jerod Coats Jr. and Jamie Coats, both of Albany; a sister, Valerie Ann James, Little Rock, Ark.; grandfather, the Rev. Robert Pierre, Natalbany; six grandchildren; numerous aunts; and uncles. Preceded in death by parents, Johnny Ray and Dorothy Mae Raines Harris; a sister, Beverly Jean Harris Pierre; paternal grandparents, James Clyde and Mary L. Harris; and maternal grandmother, Alberta Pierre.
