Annie was the daughter of William Wiltman and both of her parents were from Ireland. She had first been married to George Radcliffe of England (1830-1873) and lived in Oxford, Erie County, Ohio. She probably immigrated about 1850 because she was in Ohio by 1852 with her husband and her son, Michael. George died about 1873. Annie then became the second wife of Mark Self married on 13 October 1877 in Erie County, Ohio. She and Mark moved to Wood County and farmed in Plain Township. Annie died from Hemiphlegia.
