--101st Birthday--Mary Swisher recently celebrated her 101st birthday at Western Oaks Health Care Center. Swisher was born in Glasgow KY to Luther and Elaine McCubbin in 1892. She later married Hugh Swisher in Washington DC and worked as a nurse. The couple had no children of their own, but Mary Swisher enjoyed her church work as a Sunday School teacher along with reading and keeping house. (She lived in OKC since the late 1970s.)
