Smith, in Portville, NY., at age 84. She was born in Pompey, NY and had lived there until the 1860's when she moved to Portville. She married Lanson Smith Sept. 15, 1847 and he died in 1871. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. At the time of her death she was survived by her son Calvin, of Portville. The funeral was held at her son's home on Nov. 24, 1912.
