Myrtle Faye Fitzpatrick Stroud, 67, wife of Thomas Roy Stroud, died May 10, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Kermit, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Asa & Madge Miller Fitzpatrick.
Mrs. Stroud was retired from Winn Dixie and had previously worked for the Huntington Bank in Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of the Greenwood Shores Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Charles (Christy) Stroud, Greenwood; three brothers and two sisters, all of West Virginia and Ohio.
Funeral services were conducted at the Greenwood Shores Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Going officiating. Burial followed in the church graveyard. Pallbearers were members of Greenwood Shores Baptist Church. The Blyth Funeral Home and Crematory Services of Greenwood assisted the family with the arrangements.
