Norman "Norm" T. Emerson, age 74, U.S. Air Force Veteran, of Whiting, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 23, 2011.
Devoted husband of the late Dena Emerson (nee Knowles); loving and proud father of Dorothy Lynn Catania and Jama Kay Emerson; beloved brother of late Eileen Hayes, late Pat Mauch, late Robert Emerson and late William Emerson; dearest grandfather of Joseph Thomas Catania and late Agina V. Catania; fond cousin of Tom Owens; best friend of Lee Bolhorst; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by his dogs: Calli and Boss and numerous friends and family.
Friends are invited to meet with the Family on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Owens-Ruzich Funeral Home, 816 – 119th St., corner of (Rt. 41) Calumet Ave. at 119th St., Whiting.
Private Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elmwood, IL.
Service on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Owens-Ruzich Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley J. Dominik, officiating.
