William de Reviers, also known as William de Veron, Earl of Devon, Lord of the Isle of Wight, being 3rd but only surviving son of Baldwin, the 1st Earl. He took part in Richard's second Coronation, April 17, 1194, being one of the four Earls who bore the Canopy. He was a consistent supporter of King John.
William de Reviers married Mabirie, or Mabel, daughter of Robert de Beaumont, 1st Comté de Meulan of that family, by Maud, daughter and coheir of Reynold, Earl of Cornwall. Mable was living May 1, 1204. He died September 10, 1217, and was buried in Christ Church, Twynham (Dorset)
