Mr. Alexander died in Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Ms.
He was born in Neshoba County. He was retired owner of Alexander's Automatic Transmission Service in Pascagoula.
He has made his home in Pascagoula for the past 16 years and was a member of Bethal Assembly of God Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs Bobbie Faye (Wilson) Alexander of Pascagoula; four sons, Eddie M. Alexander, George E. (Peanut) Alexander, Jr. Derwood Lee Alexander, and Rickey Harold Alexander , all of Pascagoula; three daughters, Dinia Lambert, Wanda King, and Wendy Alexander all ofPascagoula; two brothers, W. M. Alexander of Philadelphia, Ms, and H. L. Alexander of Jackson; three sisters, Mrs. Beddie Lyn (Woodrow) Hardy of Phila., Mrs Bonnie Ruth (Tootsie) Wilson, and Mrs Nannie Jane (R.L.)Talbert both of Pine Bluff,Ark., and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were HIlton Bozeman, Claude King, Wayne Tillman, John M. Wilson, Dick Cooper, Billy Peebles and Ray Warren.
