A five-year resident of Charles City, Iowa, and formerly of Cedar Rapids and Denver, Colorado, died Friday in Charles City following a long illness.
Born Sept. 13 1892, at Strawberry Point, he married Weltha Boyd on Feb 2 1914, at Strawberry Point. She died in November 1956. Mr. Glass farmed in the Delaware County area. He was a member of the Kenwood Park United Methodist Church and Eagles.
Survivors include three sons, Howard of Key Largo, Florida, Kenneth of Oxford, Ohio, and Bruce of Greene, Iowa; a brother, Carl of Volga; 16 grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
Services: 1p.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories by the Rev. Jerry D. Springston of First Baptist Church, Charles City. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 1 to 9 p.m. today, and from 11 a.m. to service time Monday at the Chapel of Memories. The casket will be closed prior to the service. Friends may donate to a memorial fund in his name at the Kenwood Park United Methodist Church, 302 33rd St. NE, Cedar Rapids 52402
