Mrs. Anna Emmert, 81, of Rt. 2 Brillion, died Saturday at home.
Funeral services will be at Reedsville Funeral home and at St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Orville Griese will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Emmer was born Nov. 5, 1882, in the town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Martin and Anna Glase Rohrbach. She was married Nov. 10, 1901, to Jacob Emmer, and the couple farmed in the town of Rantoul. Mr. Emmert died March 2, 1948. She was a member of the Christian Mothers.
Surviving are four daughters, Miss Lena at home, Mrs. Raymond Jilla of Cudahy, Mrs. Cecelia Farris of Menominee Falls and Mrs. Frank Wunderer of Milwaukee; three sons, Leo on the home farm, Bernard of Brothertown and Joseph of North Fond du Lac; a sister, Mrs. Dena Eggert of Rock Island, Ill.; seven grandchildren, five step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren.
Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
