According to the marriage certificate of George Harold Clever and my cousin, Josephine V. Buchanan, his mother's maiden name was "Ida E. Lucy" and she was born in Missouri. I knew Harold as a kid and to a kid he seemed like kind of a "suave" guy with a "pencil thin" mustache. He introduced me to putting a soft-fried egg on a piece of buttered toast and topping it off with Worcestershire sauce (sounds wierd, but it's kind of like putting Worcestershire on any kind of meat)... I also got a kick out of visiting him in his barber shop and watching him work...
