Nell I. Persinger, 90, 302 E. 13th St., died Wednesday in Parkview Nursing Home where she had been a patient for more than seven years.
Mrs. Persinger was born in Frankfort, but came to Muncie with her parents shortly thereafter. She attended local schools and spent the rest of her life in this community. She was a member of Shawnee Heights Baptist Church and for 50 years was a Sunday school teacher for an adult ladies' class when the church was Walnut Street Baptist Church.
She was the widow of Archie Persinger.
Surviving are two sisters, Reva Baney and Dorothy Lawrence, both of Muncie.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Meeks Mortuary. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and before services Saturday.
