Rema was the daughter of John A. and Amanda J. (Black) Sheaffer. She was predeceased by her husband, John D. Baker. She was survived by two daughters, one son, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one brother.

Mrs. Baker was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Biglerville.
