BLATCHFORD, Lavina - Lavina Marie Blatchford, formerly of Charles Street, Stratford, passed away peacefully at Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell, on Monday, June 20, 2011, at the age of 97 years. She was born in Stratford daughter of the late J. Albert Youngblut (September 14, 1923) and the former Melinda Malcho (September 13, 1988). She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stratford. Beloved wife of David John Blatchford who predeceased her March 29, 1984. Loving mother of ... [ed: living persons deleted] Besides her parents and her husband she was predeceased by a granddaughter Amanda Kathryn ... (June 14, 1989), her step father Otto A. Dannecker (September 19, 1957), her sister Edna (Ted) Ward (October 17, 1986) and her husband Bev. W. Ward. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and relatives are invited to a service to celebrate Lavina's life at Zion Lutheran Church, 202 Erie St., Stratford, on Friday, June 24 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Avondale Cemetery.
