Funeral service for Mrs Bonnie Floetta Powell, 65, 112 Rosewood, who died Sunday in Grady Memorial Hospital are pending under direction of the Sevier Funeral Home.
Mrs Powell was born April 10, 1907 in Arthur, Okla. She moved to Chickasha at an early age and had made her home in and around Chickasha since that time. She married Butler Powell Feb 10, 1923 in Chickasha.
Mrs Powell was a member of the Happy Home Demonstration Club and was a charter member of the College Heights Baptist Church where she was a member of the Easter Sunday School Class. She taught a Sunday School Class for over 12 years and had also served as Sunday School Superintendent.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Oliver (Nadine) Rickert of San Antonio, Tex; Mrs Frank G (Imogene) Osborn of North Little Rock, Ark., and Mrs Hershel D (Clarice) Perry of Santa Anna Calif.; a sister Mrs Ione West of Chickasha; also, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
