OBITUARY, BOWLING GREEN, KY - 06/23/2011.
Amanda Kay Hines Balgavy, 28, of Bowling Green, died June 19, 2011, at her residence. The Cadiz native was born March 26, 1983. She loved fishing, riding her motor bike and her horse, Prince K., and gymnastics. She loved her son with all her heart. Her adoptive parents are Richard and Cheryl Balgavy of Deland, Fla., and Young Gee Balgavy of Ellicott City, Md., who survive. Her biological parents are Sheila and James Hines, who survive. She was preceded in death by grandparents Betty and Andrew Balgavy, whom she loved. Graveside service is at 3 p.m. Friday at Still Cemetery. There is no visitation scheduled. J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, is in charge of arrangements. Other survivors include a son, Tristan Balgavy; three brothers, James and Daniel Hines and Roger Jones; four sisters, Tammy Bratcher, Shannon Finn, Mickey Finn and Amanda Stump; grandparents, Herschel and Margie Phelps; an aunt, Janis and Jim Dimmett of Newburgh, Ind.; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
