Retired for three years, Mr. Brubaker had operated a grocery in Okolona for 13 years, before which time he had worked at the Okolona Grain Co.
He married Anna Lewis on May 27, 1909.
Surviving besides the wife are a daughter, Mrs. Donald Kroll, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons, Ward, of Columbus, and Thomas, Sulphur Springs, Tex.; eight grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Alfred Brubaker, Okolona; two sisters, Sara Brubaker, Okolona, and Mrs. Fred Durham, Ney; five brothers, Ralph, Detroit; Sherman and Henry, Garrett, Ind.; Leslie, Willard; and Earl, Okolona.
He was a member of Florida Methodist church.
Services will be at Mansfield funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Monday, with burial in Independence cemetery.
