World War II Women's Air Force veteran.

Mrs. Florence C. Burger of 70 Main St. died Friday (Apr. 2, 1976) in Noyes Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was 74.

Mrs. Burger was born in Hornell but had lived most of her life in the Dansville area.

She was a retired employee of the Livingston County Department of Social Services

She was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Women's Air Force.

Mrs. Burger was a member of the Dansville United Methodist Church, Daniel Goho American Legion Post, Loyal Hearts Circle of the ME Church and the Sixty Plus or Minus Club of Dansville.

Surviving are a brother, Derwin Briggs of Arkport; nieces and nephews.

A service was conducted in the Chamberlin Funeral Home Sunday afternoon. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery, South Dansville, with military rites conducted by Dansville Legionaires.
