He was well known and well liked, he was found Friday mornig by the RR tracks a short distance from the coal shuts, he was hit in the head by unknown person(s). He was taken to Chattanooga Hospital where he died from the injuries.
He leaves behind a wife a 2 small girl a father and several brother's & sister's. His body was taken the Chattooga Church Yard for interments.
