Funeral services were held Sunday at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague for Hilda Hullum, 79, of Teague who died Friday [20 Aug 2010] at East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield. Interment followed at River Cemetery in Teague.
Mrs. Hullum was born on Dec. 28, 1930 to parents William and Maggie Mae [(Adcock)] Onstott in Hubbard and grew up in Corsicana.
She married Forest Hullum at the age of seventeen on Aug. 15, 1948 and shared over sixty-two years together.
Mrs. Hullum was a dedicated mother, homemaker and member of Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Teague.
She is survived by her husband; son, Wayman Hullum and wife Linda of Teague; daughter, Pattie
Hullum Messier and husband Roy of Frisco;
Grandchildren, Jennifer Wallace of Fort Worth, Jason Hullum of Teague, Matthew Sanders of Fort Worth, and Justin Hullum of Teague; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild;
Sister, Nell Venable of McKinney; brother, Tony Onstott of New Boston; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Officiating was Bro. Steve Cowart.
Making arrangements was Bowers Funeral Home of Teague.
