Eleanor was the wife of the late Richard M.Spaulding.She was born in Pawtucket,a daughter of the late Robert and Sarah (Irving) Jeffrey.An accomplished cellist,she also had been a member of the URI Orchestra and the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra.She is survived by a daughter,Marion S.Burchard of Hanover,a son Richard Jeffrey of Charlestown,R.I.;two sisters,Ruth Barnes and Lois Asquith,both of Lincoln.She was the sister of the late Robert Jeffrey.
