Catherine Angel Porter Rudy, age 84, went to her heavenly home on September 6, 2008. Catherine was born on October 18, 1923 in Sciotoville, Ohio, to Curtis and Gladys Angel. She worked in sales, restaurants and as a school monitor. She was recognized for her volunteer work, and honored for her many years as a Sunday School teacher. She is survived by her husband, Clarence; four sisters; and two brothers. She was Mother to six sons and six daughters; and Grandmother to many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter; four grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers. She resided for the past 2 1?2 years at Mi Casa Nursing Center, where she was lovingly known as Grandma by many of the staff. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at New Life Bible Church, 200 E. First St., Mesa, AZ 85202. Arrangements handled by Mountain View Memorial Gardens
