Howard L. Templin, 91, of Springfield, died Thursday, April 11, 2002 at 10:35 a.m. in Essex of Springfield. He was born February 16, 1911 in Chillicothe, Ohio, the son of Fred and Rose (Ost) Templin. Mr. Templin was the advertising manager with Coca-Cola Bottling Company for 25 years retiring in 1972. He was a former member of Northwood Hills Country Club and was a World War II United States Navy Veteran.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth Hofmann of Tempe, Arizona and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, G. Arlene in 1991. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday in Greenlawn Cemetery, Portsmouth, Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by the Conroy Funeral Home.
