Mrs. Emily Gertrude Chaney, 71 of Hudson, died May 11, 1974, at the Grayson County War Memorial Hospital. Born April 2, 1903, she was the daughter of Joseph Graham and Margaret Howard Graham and the wife of Charles B. Chaney. She was a member of the Madrid Pentecostal Church. Survivors include one daughter, Hazel Miller of Hudson; five brothers, Everett Graham of Louisville, Paul Graham of Leitchfield, Silas Graham of Vine Grove, Hardy Graham of Hudson and Aaron Graham of Cannelton, Indiana; two sisters, Mary Tucker of Hudson and Erma Clark of Louisville; one grandchild and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 14 at the Madrid Church by the Rev. Billy Hack with interment in the Madrid Cemetery under the direction of Watkins Funeral Home.
