Charles B. Chaney, 73, a farmer of Madrid, died April 29, 1973, in Breckinridge County Hospital. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. He was born in Breckinridge County, on July 1, 1900, the son of Patrick Chaney and Octavia Tucker Chaney. Surviving are his widow, Gertrude Graham Chaney of Madrid; one daughter Hazel Miller of Hudson; and two sisters, Mrs. Lee Tucker of Leitchfield and Mrs. Everett Graham of Louisville. Also surviving are one grandson and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Madrid Pentecostal Church, with interment in the Madrid cemetery under the direction of Watkins Funeral Home.
