GREENSBORO - Lee Jordan, 82, was called home to be with his Lord on Friday, July 30, 2010. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2010 at George Brothers Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Lee was born December 19, 1927 to the late Fannie Ellen Nall Jordan and Adam Walker Jordan. He was the youngest son of 14 children with three surviving sisters. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, listening to gospel music and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Louise Johnson Jordan and children Lori McDaniel (and husband, Jeff), Lisa Musser (and husband, Dan), LeAnn Underwood (and husband, Mike), Gwyn Jackson and Barry Jordan and special son in law, Billy Jackson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren who were the love of his life: Jordan, Hunter and Braden McDaniel; DJ, Wade and Thomas Musser; Madison, Tyker, Summer, Brooke and Nathaniel Underwood; Chad Jackson (and wife, Carly); Randy and Jacob Jordan; and two great grandchildren: Isabella and Blake Jackson.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
