Hugo Frank Stasny aged 61 years, 1 month and 27 days, died at the family residence, 2000 Echols Street, on Tuesday afternoon at 5:10 o'clock after a long illness.
Born in the Shiloh community on April 12, 1881, he had been a resident of Brazos county all his life.
Funeral services for Mr. Stasny were held this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock from the Hillier Funeral Chapel with Dr. W. H. Andrew, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Interment was in the Shiloh cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Stasny, two sons Claude Neal Stasny of Bryan and Lawrence Stasny of the United States Navy, and one daughter, Mrs. W. A. Deen of Fort Worth. He is also survived by six sisters, Mrs. Joe Boriskie, Mrs. Henry Schovasa, Mrs. L. H. Krenek, Mrs. Theodore Krenek, Mrs. H. Murray all of Bryan, and Mrs. Emma Barto of Houston.
Mr. Stasny was a member of the S.P.J.S.T. Lodge of Bryan.
Those who served as pall bearers were Messrs. Ed Blazek, Orville Ryan, Joe Krenek, Frank Nedbalek, Ed Sebesta and Bill Smith.
