Mrs. Savilla Elizabeth Shorb, widow of Nathaniel Shorb, died last evening at 8 o'clock at the family residence, Pleasant Hill. Death was due to a complication of diseases. She was aged 66 years, one month and eight days.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Utz. Her husband died eleven years ago.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John F. Garrett, Porter's Sideling, and two sons, Harvey F. Shorb, Midway, and Vernie Shorb, at home, one brother, Edward Utz, Pleasant Hill, and one sister, Mrs. John Stonesifer, Penn Township.
The funeral will be held Wednesday morning. A brief service will be conducted at the Shorb home at 9:30 o'clock and further services in St. Bartholomew's Church. The Rev. J. H. Hartman will officiate. Burial will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
