FODERBERG
Zona L. Foderberg, 65, of 1258 16th Street, West Des Moines, died of cancer Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1987, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 1987, at the Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton, Iowa. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.
Mrs. Foderberg was born in Dunlap, Iowa and lived in West Des Moines for the past 13 years. She previously lived in Council Bluffs, Elkader and Chariton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a member of the Soil Conservation Society of America and the Amercian Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Foderberg was preceded in death by a son, Jay Curt.
Survivors include her husband, Leon; two sons, Dennis of Westmont, Ill., and Greg of Gladstone, Mo.; a daughter, Kim of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, Delbert Quick of Hemet, Calif., and Ferrill Quick of Woodbine, Iowa; six sisters, Dacy Peo of Dow City, Della Towle of Walden, Colo., Genevieve Richardson of Blair, Neb., Maxine McDunn of Council Bluffs, Rita Kinert of Independence, Mo., and Caroline Vallinch of Council Bluffs; and four grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Soil Conservation Society of America or the American Cancer Society.
