Some sources (such as the Ogden Standard Examiner's July 26th, 1936 birth announcement and her obituary) have her as "Fannie" rather than "Fanny." Also, some family papers list her as "Fannie Hiatt/Hyatt" rather than "Fannie Hilton," and some sources have her as "Fannie Turner," stating that she was later adopted.

Ogden- Fannie Hilton Opheikens, 87, passed away Friday, May 28, 1993. She was born Nov 28, 1906 in England to Walter and Hannah Emerald Hilton.

On Dec 15 1926 she married Joesph Jens Opheikens in Marriott, UT. He passed away in 1992.

She was a member of the LDS Church. She was also active in the Roy Eagles # 3355.

She is survived by three daughter, Mrs Jack (Ruby) Burns, Mrs Arthur (Barbara) Sheron, and Mrs Richard (Verla) Almeida, all of Ogden; 20 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 am at the Evergreen Memorial Park on Monroe and 2nd Street. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:30 at Myers Mortuary in Ogden, 845 Wash Blvd.
