Mrs. Allinder passed away Saturday, June 18th, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born January 7, 1933 to parents, William Oris Thomas Sr. and Della Mae Holland Thomas. She was a member of Bethlehem West Baptist Church. She retired from Cullman Wal-Mart. She was a "Nanny" and "Aunt Cookie" to many children as well as her own grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was loved by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, W.O. Thomas, Jr. and Jimmy Thomas; two sisters, Bettye Dobers and Gwen Mattox.
Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, William "Bill" Allinder; three daughters, Debbie Martin, Dianne (Steve) Boeckeler, Melanie (Chris) Parker; three sisters, Eloise Adams, Lori Payne, Sandy (Glenn) Humphrey; eight grandchildren, Kristi Hunter, Jeremy Jones, Vicki Patrick, Amanda Hathaway, Amy Boeckeler, Daniel Boeckeler, Adam Boeckeler, Stone Parker; fifteen great grandchildren; special friend, Pat Scott; host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday evening at Bethlehem West Baptist Church from 5:30 – 8:30.
