ABSTRACT Died May 6, 1918. At his home, 626 Locust Ave. A native of Michigan, he lived in Iowa until coming to Long Beach 10 years ago. He was a Civil War veteran, serving 3 years with Company H Twelfth Iowa Volunteers. Survived by his widow, Mrs. Agnes Briggs; daughter, Mrs. P.M. Bell of Long Beach; son Otis Briggs, of Marcus Ia. Burial at Sunnyside.
