Mrs. Freed, 75, of 308 Maple Ave., died at 1:30 a.m. Monday April 12, 1982, in her home following a brief illness.She was born Jan. 25,1905, in Rankin, the daughter of James Raymond and Geneveve (Burke) McDermitt, and Nov. 26, 1925, in Altoona, married William L. Freed, who died Feb. 27,1977.Surviving are six children:William L. Jr., Mrs. Lorraine Saylor, Mrs. Clara Lynn Shannon,and Mrs. Marie Long and Mrs.Deloris Myers of Altoona and Mrs. Marjorie Hood of Canoga Park, Calif., 21. grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.A daughter, Mrs. Jane Tulowitzki, died April 5, 1982.Mrs. Freed was a member of
St. Therese Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers of the church and the Altoona Homemakers Club.Friends will be received from 3:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.

FREED — The funeral of Mrs.E. Loretta Freed of 308 Maple Ave. will be held with a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m.Thursday in St. Therese Catholic church. Interment in Alto Reste Park. Friends will be received from 3:30 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday in the Mauk & yates Funeral Home Inc Juniata, where a wake service will be held Wednesday evening.
