INDIAN LAKE----Elizabeth Alexander, 94, formerly of Route 28, died Saturday (Dec. 26, 1987) at Mohawk Valley General Hospital in Ilion after a short illness. Born Dec. 27, 1892, in Indian Lake, she as the daughter of George F. and Ida (Fish) Persons. Mrs. Alexander was a lifelong resident of Indian Lake and she graduated from Indian Lake High School in 1914. She had been a teacher in several school systems. Mrs. Alexander married Harold F. Alexander on Oct. 21, 1916. He died on March 18, 1948. She was a member of the Indian Lake Methodist Church. Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be in the Spring at Cedar River Cemetery in Indian Lake. No calling hours are scheduled. Arrangements are by Smith-Woody Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville.
