Mr. Jackson, a farmer, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Overton County Nursing Home.
Born June 11, 1917, in Allons, he was the son of the late James "Jim" and Sally (Worley) Jackson. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a sister, Sarah (Jackson) Kyle, Livingston; and several nieces and nephews.
