Carolyn Anabeth "Beth" Myers Jones, 67 years of age, of Centerville, Indiana, departed this life on Sunday, June 19th, 2011 at the Golden Living Center Oak Ridge in Richmond, Indiana.
Beth was born on Saturday, July 24th, 1943 in Fountain City, Indiana to Ruth Helen Bragg Myers and the late William Leondas Myers Sr. She was a 1961 graduate of Fountain City High School. She was a member of New Garden Friends Meeting and attended Centerville Church of the Nazarene. She was formerly employed by Wayne Dairy and babysat area children for many years.
Beth was survived by two sons, Ricky Jones and Randy Jones, both of Centerville, Indiana; her mother, Ruth Helen Myers of Bay Minnette, Alabama; one sister, Jane Snell of Bay Minnette, Alabama; one brother, John Myers of Syracuse, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends who mourn her passing.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Jones, whom she married on Friday, November 15th, 1968 and shared 27 years together before his death on Tuesday, March 19th, 1996; her father, William Leondas Myers Sr.; and one brother, William Leondas "Bill" Myers Jr.
Visitations were conducted from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24th, 2011 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home in Fountain City, Indiana.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24th, 2011 in the Chapel of the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home.
Interment followed in the New Garden Friends Cemetery in Wayne County, Indiana.
