Jesus took Billie Brackett's hand on June 9, 2011, and took her home. She was born October 9, 1933, in Oklahoma City OK to Vaneta and Robert Booth. She worked in the optical field for 15 years. After attending college in Texas, she went into a nursing career and worked in Texas for several years. After returning home to Oklahoma City in 1991, she held several nursing positions until settling in with Dr. Felix Kay for many years until retiring. Her hobbies included gambling and playing Nintendo with her sister Marrion.

She is preceded in death by her parents Vaneta and Robert Booth, 3 brothers, 5 sisters, and her beloved son Jackie.

Those surviving her include her husband Harvey "Jack" Brackett, of the home; sister Marrion Sweek of Del City OK; five step children; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She loved her family very much.
