Zeola Roene Morgan, 93, of Ridgeland, MS passed away Wednesday June 15 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Funeral services will be Sunday June 19, 2011 at 3:00 pm at the North Brandon Church of Christ, 1029 Hwy 471 in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Saturday June 18, 2011 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS and also from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the Church Sunday. There will also be a chapel service Tuesday June 21st at the Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, TX, with visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and service at 11:00. Mrs. Morgan was born to Dewitt Talmadge and Edna Mae Trapp November 18, 1917 in Hopkins County Texas. She was preceded in death in 1967 by her husband Earl Morgan of Dallas Texas and by her parents, and three of her brothers. She is survived by her son Glenn Newell of Clinton, MS and by her daughter Alisa Marx and her husband Marlon of Albert Lee, MN. She is also survived by her grandchildren Cassandra Newell of Kilgore, TX, Christopher Newell of Hattiesburg, MS, Amber Isleib and her husband Brandon of Montgomery, AL , Jamie Wahl and her husband John also of Montgomery, AL, Benjamin Marx of Albert Lee, MN, and by two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind one sister Patsy Williamson of Dallas, TX, one brother Ivan Trapp and his wife Mary Lou of Pueblo, CO, and one sister-in-law Francis Trapp of Peoria, AZ.

Mrs. Morgan loved her family, the Church she had been a member of for 80 years, and her many friends. She was also an avid gardener and loved to sew, especially quilt tops, and she loved playing games. She will be greatly missed.
