Floyd E. Abraham, 61, prominent in church, civic and agricultural affairs, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday at his residence, six miles north of Muncie on Ind. 28, after a six weeks' illness.
A resident of Delaware county most of his life, Mr. Abraham was well known for his horticultural work and immunization of hogs besides farming. He was secretary of the advisory board of Royerton School, a member and trustee of Eden Congregational-Christian Church, a former Republican precinct committeeman of Precinct 45, and a former member of the county draft board.
He was a native of Franklin County.
Surviving are the widow, Isca F. Abraham; three daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Ann Louise) Cline of Selma; Mrs. Marvin (Ruth Ellen) Langley of Inlow Springs Road, and Miss Carolyn Sue Abraham at home.
Funeral arrangements will be completed at the Parson Mortuary.
