He was Pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Arizona, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his wife, Maurine Canaday of the home; three sons, John Canaday of Ottawa Ontario, Canada, Scott Canaday of Yukon, Oklahoma, Duncan Canaday of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Lisa Okeke of Oklahoma City; one brother, Richard Canaday of Market Tree, Arkansas; one sister, Mary Catherine Carter of Arroya Grande, California; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Central Presbyterian Church, Oklahoma City. Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.
