Isabel Holbrook, 83 of 104 E. Tyner Drive, Warsaw, died at 4:50 a.m. March 2, 2003, in Mason Health Care Facility, Warsaw.
She was born April 22, 1919, in Talma, to Milo and Chloe Yantiss Griffis. On Oct. 14, 1939, in Warsaw, she married Howard "Sam" Holbrook, who preceded her in death.
Living most of her life in the Warsaw area, she was a homemaker, a matron at the jail and worked at Warsaw Cut Glass. She was a member of Lamba Chi Omega sorority and a graduate of Claypool High School.
Surviving are a son, Robert (and Carolyn) Holbrook, Warsaw; two granddaughters, Mrs. Brent (Candace) Myers and Mrs. Don (Suzanne) Dickerhoff, both of Warsaw; and five great-grandchildren; Madison and Abigail Myers and Hayley, Emma and Dan Dickerhoff. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert Griffis.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor E.J. Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Chapel.
